Westerly Hearing on MMj Ordinance Has Been Postponed

The public hearing on the proposed Westerly MMj ordinance that was originally scheduled for tonight (Monday, October 26) has been postponed, according to the Deputy Town Clerk. The Council has asked their attorney to make revisions to the proposed ordinance. A new date for a hearing has not yet been announced.

BRISTOL – Monday Oct 19 at 7PM  Town Council will have a special meeting to discuss proposed ordinance to restrict MMj grows and mj related businesses. WESTERLY – Monday October 26 at 7pm Town Council Public Hearing on Ordinance that would require inspections of ALL grows, prohibit growing in basements, within 500 feet from churches, schools, day care, and more.  We will provide a more detailed analysis in the next couple of days.


Back by popular demand. We are proud to, once again, offer our successful GROW CLASSES.  These classes are for those who have never seen a MMj plant as well as experienced growers. We are fortunate to have a teacher who both a master grower and excellent instructor. Must be licensed patient or caregiver to attend. This is a series of 8 classes. Fee is $25 per class. Dec 9         Vegetative growth, vegetative nutrients, transplanting, topping and training

Dec. 23   Flowering cycle, flowering nutrients, patience

Jan. 6         Harvest, drying, curing

Jan. 13     Making bubble hash (with ice), butter and tinctures
